Danielle has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in private practice for 15 years.
She places high value on creating a safe, warm, and non-judgemental space to support a range of therapy outcomes, from managing day to day life, to navigating psychological symptoms and experiences, to deeper inner healing work and transformation.
She works with adolescents and adults using an educated but intuitive approach to tailor therapy to person need. She enjoys working with a broad range of issues, such as self-esteem / acceptance, anxiety, depression, bipolar, childhood trauma and abuse, recent trauma or impacting events, study and work issues, ADHD, and addiction.
Danielle has an affinity for supporting people through life transitions, grief, and adjustments from study and career, to fertility and parenting, retirement, illness, and loss of loved ones.
She compassionately works with attachment and any relationship issues including dating, couple, family, and other relationships, and work.
She enjoys helping people to develop an awareness of parts of their internal self that affect mood, behaviors, relationships, and choices so they may see pathways for self understanding, a more peaceful inner state, and desired change.
She uses understandings and interventions from across a range of therapeutic modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and has an interest in polyvagal theory, and work such as imagery rescripting, somatic interventions, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
