Dr Ben Grafton completed his Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2010, and his Doctor of Philosophy in 2014, at the University of Western Australia.
Ben works with clients aged from 16 years and older, and enjoys helping individuals to better manage and overcome difficulties with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, alcohol and other drugs, and interpersonal relationships.
Ben uses a variety of therapy approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Mindfulness based therapy
- Meta-cognitive Therapy
Ben also has a keen interest in parenting. He loves helping parents, new and old, navigate the challenges that come along with raising kids. Ben is familiar with both traditional, and more contemporary, evidence-based approaches to parenting.
In addition to working in private practice, Ben holds an academic position at the University of Western Australia’s School of Psychological Science. His research has been published extensively in international journals, and he has authored multiple book chapters. Ben is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Psychology Board.
