Fees & Payment

Appointment Information

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) currently recommends a standard fee of $318 for a 45–60 minute psychology session. In line with this guidance, Vivid Psychology will be updating our fees from 1 July 2026.

We offer appointments Monday to Friday, with late afternoon and evening sessions available  Monday to Thursday.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is payable to secure your initial appointment with your chosen clinician. Deposits expire 28 days after the date of your first appointment as initially booked. Whilst deposits are non-refundable they are used towards payment of your initial appointment. We appreciate your understanding as this policy allows us to best manage and maximise our psychologists time and availability for other clients.

Vivid Psychology has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need cancel your appointment, please contact us no later than 48 hours prior to your appointment, or a late cancellation fee will apply. This is to ensure that we have sufficient notice to offer this time to other clients also in need of support.

If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the session fee. If you do not attend without providing notice, you will be charge the full fee for this session. Please also be aware that rebates through Medicare or private health insurance are not available for cancelled or unattended appointments.

A late cancellation affects 3 people, your psychologist who has spent time preparing for your session, other clients on the wait list who are in need of a therapy, and yourself who misses the opportunity to connect.
